Graham started out working for The Blood Transfusion service before a change of career introduced him to NVQs in the 1980s. It was at Halesowen College that he became an Assessor trainer in NVQs as well as lecturing in Biomedical Sciences. It was here that Graham trained as an Assessor, Internal Verifier and External Verifier. He gained experience as an External Verifier for NEBS Management.
From Halesowen College he went on to Tarmac to become the National NVQ Training Manager overseeing a range of NVQs relating to the Quarrying Sector.
From there Graham decided he would set up Morley Young Partnership that has transformed today to Morley Young Training Services. Through his experience, network of contacts and overall skills of management and leadership Graham has built up a successful family run firm and gained a reputation of being the man who can in the NVQ arena.
James started at Tarmac as a Historian and archivist keeping the records of the well known British company up to date. From here he moved into the Insurance Industry and became a Claims Handler ensuring that people were fairly treated and received insurance payouts.
Like father like son, James had a career change and was introduced to NVQs through Graham. He gained his Assessor and Internal Verifier awards. From there, he ably assisted MYP with The Welsh Contract of training and assessing 180 Assessors and Internal Verifiers in Wales whilst simultaneously establishing 8 training centres. He now oversees the Registrations and Certifications of candidates, as well as being responsible for the day to day management of the Central Office.
